Location Publisher Mobile

Location Publisher Mobile is the latest development from IMGS in its Location Publisher product suite. Built on Location Publisher, Location Publisher Mobile will allow your staff and members of the public to access spatial data using Smartphone devices over a wireless connection.

By providing access to your data through Smartphone devices we can provide your staff with the ability to:

• View the location of customers, assets and jobs.
• Update and capture spatial and attribute information instantly when in the field.

Location Publisher Mobile can take advantage of the latest wireless technology (GPRS, 3G, WIFI) and is well positioned to take advantage of future wireless technology improvements (e.g. WIMAX) to provide you with a simple easy to use connected mobile solution.

By choosing to use Smartphone devices you only need to provide your staff with one device which can act as a Phone, GPS unit, Camera and PDA.

Using the IMGS Location Publisher map publishing engine, Location Publisher Mobile can be configured to display context based mapping which is related to the calling domain and can be reused across your enterprise.

Location Publisher Mobile can be used as a standalone solution or can be integrated with your existing mobile applications to provide mapping and location information to your users.

By providing Location Publisher Mobile to your field workers you will:

• Provide accurate routing and location information to increase efficiency and response times.
• Retain control of your data through secure portal and protect against loss or theft of mobile device.
