The IMGS Team

Our business is about using software solutions to connect your enterprise with location and engineering information.  It is therefore natural that we are a multidisciplinary team.  Our team comprises professionals from backgrounds in engineering, computer science, geographical information systems and project management.

For your projects we form project teams comprising the best mix of skills available to solve your problems and to deliver valuable solutions.   At any one time, our permanent team is typically supplemented by approximately 20% - 30% by external specialists drawn from our network of partners and associates to solve specific problems.

In this way we can deliver a full range of professional services skills required to deliver complex system integration, application development and technical support in the field of enterprise geospatial resource management and engineering systems.

Ciaran Kirk – Technical Director at IMGS, Ciaran holds a BSc Computer Science from Dundalk Institute of Technology.  Ciaran is a Certified Intergraph GeoMedia WebMap Developer, and is probably one of the most experienced web mapping developers in Ireland.  Ciaran joined IMGS in 2002 from Measuresoft – a specialist in factory plant measurement and telemetry systems.

Simon McCabe - Projects Manager at IMGS, Simon holds a BSc in Computer Science and has recently completed an MSc in Information Systems from Trinity College.  Simon is a certified ISO 9000 auditor, and Intergraph GeoMedia Desktop Developer.  Simon joined IMGS in 2002 from Measuresoft - a specialist in factory plant measurement and telemetry systems.

Annette Farrell - Training and Support Manager at IMGS, Annette holds an MSc in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Ulster.  Annette is a Certified Intergraph GeoMedia WebMap Developer and Trainer and is one of the most experienced FME trainers in Ireland.  Annette joined IMGS in 2003, having previously worked with the MAPS Project in the Dept Communications Marine and Natural Resources.
