Mobile Workforce Management
To build, maintain and service a Telecommunications network requires a large and expensive mobile workforce. Every truck roll and every customer intervention costs money and its imperative that your telecommunication organisation efficiently manages your mobile workforce.
With Intergraph’s InService we can provide you with a mobile workforce management solution that provides you with not only with fleet management capabilities but also with the ability to:
- Empower field workers with access to key enterprise information e.g. job details, asset information, user manuals, safety information etc.
- Empower field workers to record and update enterprise systems with job and asset information from the field without needing to return to the office.
- Empower managers, supervisors and dispatchers to view the location your fleet in real time or near to real time and make informed resource allocation decisions.
With InService you can not only view the current location of the crew but also the crews capabilities and status with each status being color coded to aid you in quick analysis of the current state of readiness of your field crews.
InService can also be integrated with your existing job management tools to provide job dispatchers with a view of all job locations and crew locations. This view will enable dispatchers to dispatch a job to a crew best located to answer the call efficiently and best equipped to answer the call (e.g. is available, has the right equipment and isn’t on the wrong side of the county!).
InService also provides a Historical Tracking capability which records the route taken by a vehicle and therefore can provide important information which can be used in the training of crews with the aim of improving response times.
Once in the field our mobile solutions provide field crews access to their enterprise systems via our connected & disconnected mobile solutions.
