- Make it even easier for members of the public to access service information
- Allow members of the public and staff members to capture spatial information through an easy to use web interface
Included with this release are:
- Enhanced Accessible Nearest Service
With the Enhanced Accessible Nearest Service, users can now query for the nearest services from a specific address point without requiring a map which therefore opens up spatial data to users with visual impairments.
- Theme and Topic Selection
In Location Publisher Version 3.0 mapping topics can now be grouped into Themes to enable users to easily drill down through the portal to access their required data.
Location Publisher 3.0 contains a Pre-Planning module which allows members of the public to submit a pre-planning submission directly to their Local Authority online and receive a spatial report against that submission. An automatic email can be sent to the planning department (this email can also include a DGN of the area captured)
Location Publisher’s existing CRM Interface has been enhanced to allow you to select existing assets as part of the incident capture and therefore provide improved information to asset managers.
- Advanced Gazetteer Search
Location Publisher’s existing Gazetteer capability has been enhanced to allow you to search by street name and from the resulting street list view the buildings on the selected street thus making it easier for you to find a specific address.
