Location Register enables users to capture spatial information over the Web and for use in their existing enterprise applications. IMGS customers who use this technology include Dublin City Council who will be using it as part of a Web-based application developed by IMGS to manage the acquisition and disposal of Council properties. Eircom also use this technology as part of a Web-based network analysis system built by IMGS.
Using IMGS ‘Location Register’ allows for the development of a wide range of “spatially aware” applications. There is no need to purchase separate desktop software. You can create applications to record and track incidents such as water leaks or customer complaints. As well as the incident details, the specific location is captured at the same time. To create an application using the tool, all you need is to configure a Web Digitising Window, and develop a set of Web Forms and associated database. The resulting application is completely integrated, ready to be deployed.
IMGS Location Register is based on Intergraph GeoMedia WebMap technology.
